  • Covid-19: Fit note/ Sick note guidance and template       RMCA

We know that with measures such as social distancing and self isolation being put in place there are many more patients demanding fit notes/ Med3s. The current Government guidance for employers and businesses on coronavirus (covid-19) reiterates that medical evidence is not required for the first 7 days of sickness. It adds that after 7 days, employers may use their discretion around the need for medical evidence if an employee is staying at home.

Asad Abdullah - Former GP Registrar

I just wanted to say that this was the best placement / 4 weeks of my time at UCL medical school. From day 1, all the team were so incredibly kind, generous, happy and willing to help me get the most out the 4 weeks. Everyday, I was greeted by warm smiles and lots of love which gave me so much confidence going into the day.

I was given every single opportunity to better myself and to understand the complexities and works of a GP practice including pharmacy visits, the chance to give over 50 flu vaccines!, seeing my own patients, diabetic clinics, 8 week baby checks etc.  I was simply blown away by how much time and effort the practice invested in me. All the patients there kept saying how "this is not an ordinary practice, and the best I have ever been to" and so I have been incredibly lucky and so thank you for placing me at St Peters Medical Practice as it has truly inspired me as to how I want to practice medicine which is with love, kindness, patience, respect and understanding.
