How to Request a Home Visit
We wish to provide a first class service for our patients and in order to do this and to have time for clinics and services traditionally offered in hospitals, it is no longer viable or efficient (or in the majority or cases medically necessary) to do a home visit.
A surgery consultation is beneficial to the patient because of the ability to make use of equipment and diagnostic aids.
We will continue to visit the following people:
- The terminally ill.
- Those truly bed-bound for whom travel to the surgery by car would cause a deterioration in their medical condition or unacceptable discomfort.
- Those patients with severe life-threatening conditions for which we may simultaneously arrange an ambulance.
